Eh. I don't have a problem with it. Last gen there were "PS3 vs. 360" threads all over the place and people were quick to say, "no need to bring the Wii into this." The Wii U and the XO are within shouting distance, let them have at it, full tooth and claw. We don't know anything, other than what has already happened, and that's not always a perfect indicator for the future.

Seriously, though, we should be encouraging this fight. It's nice being Emperor rather than one of the gladiators.

70 million huh...

The reason people are excited is that it's different than the norm. After poor sales numbers, it's nice to see some good news every once in a while. No need to be negative about it. Sure some fans have unrealistic expectations...but no more than a certain prediction in the OP ;)

Many nintendo enthusiast are delighted with the uprising of Wii U. And their reason is it is taking down Xbox One in terms of sale. But in reality we all know that Xbox One will cross 70 50 (edited) million easily at the end of this gen. Whereas Wii U will struggle to cross 15 - 20 million.

After being the 7th gen leader Wii U's performance is very disappointing. And after a lot of bad news you guys are getting good news. But we all know the reality. Wii U is destined to take 3rd place in this gen. And we all know this.

So why I am making this post? Its great to cheer for nintendo. And you guys do it. But its not great to loose your mind and attack Xbox One enthusiasts. And please dont attack me for this harsh reality.

I am part of PS4 master race. I like to sit in top and see the fun. Ha ha ha.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

I think its because alot of Nintendo fans expect Wii U to outsell the Xbone this gen. Which is highly unlikely.

You are right. But what do you think about this thread? Doesnt it encourage fight?

I'm not really seeing the point of this thread...

Sales discussion on a weekly basis is a valid and viable part of forum participation, and has been since VGChartz was implemented. The weekly comparison of numbers is what makes this site unique, and if Wii U is above Xbox One for a week (or X console is ahead of Y console), then it's fair game to be discussed if so desired by our community. Whether that goes according to your foretold destiny does not give you the right to steer discussion. That's why the mod team is here, to stop anyone from attacking anyone else. If you see anyone doing so, report it and we'll get on it.

Also, if you're wondering why folks are being so hostile to this thread, it's because your last sentence sabotaged any chance you had at coming off as genuine or trying to help in any way. If you claim to the "master race", then do so by leading by example.
