I was browsing the forums, when all of a sudden, I got redirected to a page from google safe browsing where it said "the site you were on were phishing for your personal information" and then an explanation of what phishing is. I re-entered the site, but it happened again. Then I turned on ad-block again, and for some reason, it worked again. What was going on?

Been like that for ages, the ads are slowing this site down. I actually made a forum post stating once that I ran virtual windows xp (a clean install) and ran malwarebytes after visiting vgchartz. It found ike 2/3 malware problems. I did also test other websites like bbc, gaf, hotmail etc. and they made none.

I know google collects data for target ads and stuff, but they don't go after your passwords and important personal info.

that is what they tell you but, when your ads start matching private email conversations you have with people that also have passwords in them makes you wonder.

As for this site. The only way to run is with ad blocker. It has become over spammed with ads beyond acceptable. The shit that shows up and the noises that auto play  are that bad that you can't visit this site at work without the blocking.

I don't use email for private convos, but this makes me want to send some emails where I mention things that might change my ads, just to see if it works.

Don't worry, just give me your social security number and the message will go away.

Bank account information can be used in that case.

It's the horrible ads. Just use adblock until it's fixed.
