Devil May Cry for me............ and absolutley SUBLIME hack 'n' slasher.

Will be picking a different franchise if there's a "part 2" of course.

DMC had the biggest impact on Gaming IMO so it wins even though GoW eventually sold more. I never played Onimusha Warlords but Onimusha II especially was really good. I didnt go back to play the original because I heard it was worse in just about every way. I've always found the GoW games to be button mashers. Just can't get into that series.

I frggin hate these kinds of poll. It's like asking "which is better, Aphex twin or One Direction" and not expect all the ignorant teenage sc¨ms to reply else than 1D.

2. Onimusha is the inventor of the modern gore Beat'em-all adventure genre, it was a revolution but not quite as well executed as DMC
1. Devil May Cry was, relative to it's era, the best modern beat'em-all there was
3. God of War, when it was released, had good idea but was clearly pale in comparison to Devil May Cry 1

God of War totally ripped off Castlevania Lament of Innosence battle system and ripped off Rygar in setting and large bosses.
