because nobody believes russian news

1) many people believes Russian news, RT should be a good sign of it; 2) this is not Russian news, this is local news; 3) the fact Ukrainian army uses "Grad" launchers against the cities is undeniable.

@fighter there's a lot of your posts with little to no substance. We've got your bias, no need repeat it many times. Do you have anything to say in regards to what I replied to you, see above?

Are you shocked ? Putin has been providing weapons to mercenaries and "rebels" for months now.

As Merkel said earlier this year "Putin is in another world".

That crazy "leader" (only in Russia lol) has single handedly sabotaged his foreign policy, economical perspectives, and the life of eastern ukranians all for a setback in his plan to dominate Ukraine.

Ukraine is now more than ever united against russian policies and tactics. Nato has actually now more power in the Eastern European countries than ever, all thanks to Putin. And it might be a while before economical sanctions are lifted !

No doubt. Putin has proved to be genuinely evil, but that should surprise nobody. As for shooting down a plane at 33k feet that's subsonic and has the radar signature of a small planet, that's child's play for the kinds of launchers supplied to the separatists.

Just curious,  how 'Putin has proved to be genuinely evil'??? Not taking shit out of your head, but with some actual facts?

i think evil and good are inept religious-type of absolutes - and they don't exist

anyway - any governance that manipulates masses the way Putin / G.W.Bush / Kim Il sung / Hamas etc. does is pretty fucked up

For me it varies with time, just when you think you've found a decent news outlet they publish an idiotic article. That said, The Guardian (UK) are up there at the moment for the Edward Snowden leaks, some of the investigative journalism pieces they've written in the past and the generally solid presentation of science articles (that few newspapers get right without sounding sensationalist). They do present are rather left leaning view though, so it's best to keep that in mind when reading their articles.

http://www.theguardian.com/uk

And for you?

I don't rely on established media outlets for the events I follow, including RT. My sources of information are informal and usually heavily biased one way or another, so I got used to the fact I have to rely on unreliable. Say, for Ukrainian events aside for a couple guys on the ground that feed me with some news, there're streamers, there're limited number of popular actors involved in the events like Strelkov (DPR commander-in-chief), Tymchuk (claim to be Ukrainian field commander, de-facto he is one of maaany unofficial spokepersons), Semchenko (Ukrainian filed commander of paramilitary battalion), there're Ostrovsky's of VICE news despite his heavy anti-Russian bias (follow him since Crimea events), there's ANNA-news on anything war related (follow them since Syrian events), in that regard they are the best because they are always on the fronline quite literally, local news etc.

More or less the same. Most of Russians who I know don't watch TV except for sports, and taking their information from a variety of different sources, with the most reliable are the people you know in a real life.

I don't trust Russian media but Western media isn't any more trustworthy.

Actually France is quite an example of healthy governance if you ask me :

- they opposed the war in Iraq (Chirac)

- they intervened in Mali and cancelled the importation of an islamist guerilla (Hollande)

- they tried to intervene in Syria before islamism took over the opposition (Hollande)

- Chirac was corrupt --> condemned for affairs during his municipal governance of Paris (but not punished enough)

- Sarkozy was corrupt --> his phone was hacked and now our justice has all the evidence - will probably face jail time

Can you say the same about Russia ? What is the size of the house Putin bought for his daughter near Sotchi ? I bet Yanukovych's was nothing in comparison
