Ok this has to be nipped in the bud now.

Halo MCC is not being hyped up to sell millions like a mainline Halo would. It is hyped by the vocal minority and Halo fans for its fan service. It will do great as far as remakes go but it is not expected to sell like a mainline Halo title.

Please do not confuse our being pleased with the game with expectations for it to sell gangbusters or "save" the X1.

My personal prediction: 2 million+ like Halo CEA or Halo Wars. Spinoffs and remakes of Halo fall within the 2 million mark.

I disagree with you it is going to sell more than Halo CEA it is going to sell 4m

Well I like to be wrong but I am placing my estimate on the X1's year 1 install base, which will cut its legs no matter how we slice it. If they bundle it for a couple years going forward it may just reach that milestone. 2 million at the least, where it goes from there depends on bundles.

Lets hope for the best

The MCC should sell for the lifetime of the console, It's a great deal and will only get cheaper as it gets older. 2 million seems like a lowball number

Well I sure hope so, because the only "evergreen" game 360 had was Halo 3 (still limping along to 12 million!). If any game has that same potential, especially when it gets cheaper (thus increasing its value further), its this game.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

It hasen't been up for pre order for long so it will show up next month. People thought halo 5 was going to release this year and it had already made it into the pre order charts. Now its halo MCC so wait till people find out and pre order.

Halo 4 was a 343 game, and it was a disappointment.

Says the guy that never played it...

halo 4 had the greatest single player of any of the halo games.  Gameplay was also among the best halo has ever had.  343 is more than capable of taking over the halo franchise.

I have played Halo 4  because I owned a xbox360 and Halo 4.  It was a disappointment.  I may be sort of in the minority, but I thought Halo Reach was better Halo 3 and Halo 4.
