It's sad how Psp is selling! Handhelds should be destroying consoles! (ds is the prime example of the handhelds.)



Damn things have changed since 2009 began. Here are my new visions for the end of the generation.

 

Wii: 135 mil

Ps3: 85 mil

360: 60 mil

Only thing to note, wii is not > ps3 + 360.

I guess, but it doesn't seem dominating for the Wii.  I mean, the PS3 was kinda close.  I guess we have to wait for Brawl release in America to see if Europe is seeing shortages according to Ninty supporters?  I say Ninty supporters because many seem to be doubting that shortages are still in every territory, or it seems that way from people.

If you look at last year at the same time, DS, PSP, and X360 are approximately the same as last year.

Wii is doing 30K better, probably due to better supply.

PS3 obviously wasn't there last year, but is doing very well.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Man, you have no conception, this is not sad. The PSP is achieiving what no handheld has ever done: it has taken a sizable percentage of the game boy's sales away from them.  What do you want, instant equals in the handheld business? It's gonna take some grinding and great marketing to take 50% or more from a Ninty handheld.  It is not sad.  In retrospect it's kinda amazing, lol.

PS3 has already had a price drop, and several SKU's. Just imagine what the Wii could do with a price drop or new SKU. This was hinted at prior to the Wii's launch, but given its overwhelming success, has yet to transpire. Of course, Nintendo would have to address supply issues before they even consider such a course of action.

i don't think a Wii price drop will be anything significant.
they're already cheap enough for the average consumer, in contrast to a 400 - 500 dollar product....

A Wii price drop would not affect sales...if their are not enough Wii's...

It maybe would increase demand a little but that is all..
