They need to just make a regular system with no unique features

This would make it easier to unify their HH & Console for next gen. I say go back to the NES name. The console will be called "NES" while the portable is "NES Portable"

And to the OP, I was almost with you until I realised it would have no buttons, and need a controller add-on. That is released FREE. Extra cost plus destroying mobility? Nope.

I could easily drop $100 purchasing old NES and SNES games to play on my tablet.

That's in the works by the way. They won't be full games but will be playable experiences on the smart devices.

no,this,could alienate Nintendo fans..i m one...Mario and some other ninty games , are so difficult to play and handle on a touchscreen,mmmm tablet with a dpad and analog sticks like wii u controller, is acceptable!note:tablet market faces decline!!!...pc revenge is coming:P
