Even if Gears 2 looks better than R2, R2 will most likely be the better game. But I suppose it doesn't matter since that was the case last time as well, imo.

You would be in quite the minority with that opinion, though it is your right to say it.

Personally, I thought R:FoM was really bland. After seeing screens for R2, I'm considerably more excited to play the title due to the more varied terrain. Hopefully they beefed up the story and overall design a bit while they were at it.

The debate of which game is 'better' will never be resolved, because it's all opinion. Gears has tight, tactical, close-quarters combat vs large-scale tactical battles in Resistance (although, this could get shaken up a bit if the 200-locust tech demo is any hint).

I personally greatly preferred Gears 1, and found Resistance to be bland. But that is my opinion, and it doesn't determine which is a better game. (I am looking forward to at least trying R2 btw, because it seems better)

No one can say now...but just take a look at Legend11's signature and that says a whole lot more than the past lies/hype we've all heard about ps3 games.
