Its true, for the lifetime of the PS4 its only going to have remasters. At this rate (judging from 7-8 months from its release) the PS4....will die. Seriously, last of us remaster is whats making you think the consoles cycle will be about remasters? And im not sure the PS4 can get 60% (where you get that info anyway)

i remember the thread you made when you got your ps4. honestly, it made me want to get a ps4 too, seeing it in your set up and all. but as time went on, i saw less and less reason to have one. i have an xbone and a wii u, and i use them a pretty good amount, and i think to myself.. if i had a ps4, what would i do with it? there are no games i would play, thats for sure.

I think the OP was implying the GAP in weekly or monthly sales.  It may be near impossible to make up the difference, but the difference as a percentage will decrease(thus shrinking the gap statistically) as the userbases grow.  IF the gap stops increasing anyway!

wii u and xbone DID sell more than ps4. and that is closing the gap. people were predicting 60%+ market share. personally, i never thought it would even go above 50% market share. in order to attain 50% market share, you have to outsell both consoles combined. thats not something that happened this week, and i dont think there are going to be many weeks that it will happen.

They are not closing the gap yet, but just wait a couple of months when XOne launches in Tier 2 countries...

I'm honestly shocked at these new numbers we have. This generation we might not have ANY console get over 50% during the actual generation. It could be like 40-30-30 or something like that. No one would really dominate.

PS4 will sell between 140-170 million.
Wii U 30-50 million
XBOX ONE 40-60 million
Even in the best scenario for Wii U and XBOX ONE, PS4 will have more of 56% of market.

Ps4 will dominate but not in the ps2 level of dominance



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m
