NBC Sports Calls Out NFL Madden, Says Franchise “Sucks” and Pines for the Return of 2K Series

An interesting video clip recently made the rounds in which NBC Sports made its opinion quite clear concerning the Madden NFL series: it “sucks.”

Those are the literal words taken directly from the clip. The speaker goes on to discuss the issues with the franchise and how the exclusivity deal between EA and NFL is the root of the series’ degradation. He also states that he hopes the NFL will drop the partnership and that the 2K series makes a return. You can watch the video below and read up on the article here.

holy shit something from NBC i can agree with and that is true.

The series does suck due to the lack of competition.

I used to enjoy Madden. Until I bought 25 for PS4. It was horrible beyond belief.
I'm not buying it this year, or in any subsequent year.

The hilarious thing is all of you will still keep buying it along with your cool CoD games that are so fresh and innovative year after year...

I may be buying CoD this year though, the first one I would be buying since modern warfare. Seems like a big enough jump to warrant a purchase and not just a map update.

All of EA's exclusivity deals need to die in a fire.
