Only reason PS3 is still around and the Gamecube eliminated is because Europe is the only place that's been awake for the past few hours.

Or because PS3 has a strong game catalogue in every genre and for every kind of gamer, from casual to hardcore, from AAA to indie/arcade, from keyboard + head set online gaming to camera and motion control. Game Cube does poorly in barely any of these fields.


I disagree with everything you just said, and claim the opposite, with exception to motion control since that wasn't a very big thing at the time.

I'm surprised how far Sega made it. Either there's a lot of older gamers on this site or people who mostly play Microsoft had nothing else to go to. There's not a heavy Microsoft presence on the site so I'm thinking it might actually be the former, cool! Maybe we'll have a classic SNES vs. Genesis duel at the end? Nah, we all know Sony's winning this.
