Sazh Katzroy is superior, though :P

Wow, you're right. Never even thought of Sazh. He was awesome, even used him as my XBL avatar for a few years.

Great character, was a really good father, good in a battle and provided some nice humour to the game.

Petty much one of the only redeeming qualities from that game.  He was great.

CJ or Barret

Zool.

My favorite in recent years is Lee Everett from The Walking Dead. I thought that Lee was largely free from most stereotypical characteristics, excluding the fact that he was being sent to prison (although the reason why was far from stereotypical). Lee was not only a protagonist (whereas many other black characters are relegated to only the supporting cast), but he was a protagonist that anyone, regardless of ethnicity, could empathize with.

Edit: I also have to agree with Pokoko and say that I love the range of characters from different ethnicities in the Saint's Row franchise.

This is the Game of Thrones

The trainer in Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!

Pretty much any black character in Final Fantasy because they are the product of Japanese Stereotype(or you can call it Racism) that always reminds me of how fucked up that country is which makes me want to laugh due to the sheer stupidity of it all.

That or this one:
