I agree with you.

SSB (3DS) > MK8 > Halo MCC

I'll say MK8 because it will be out substantially longer than other exclusives by the end of 2014, and Mario Kart games are known to have some very nice legs.

Mario Kart should be 3-4m by the end of the year. Halo collection might reach that lifetime but it's not doing it in 2014 alone. Same for LBP3.

I honestly think Smash U will outsell Halo.  Its a new game with more of a user base.  Even with a Holiday Push Halo MCC will be lucky to break 3 million.  Only thing holding Smash back is when it actully releases.

If it comes out in December and Halo Comes in October... yes in this situation Halo will have more by the end of the year.  If we are talking Fiscal year Halo will be oltsold by smash in that scenario.  If they are released on the same day Halo will lose.

I think it will either be MK8 or Super Smash Bros. People keep thinking that its the exclusive games that will decide who "wins" the war in 2014...and I don't think that is going to be the case. I think Destiny, Assassin's Creed, and COD will decide which console rules this holiday. (and no guarantee that COD is going to be a plus on the Xbox either...it could just as easily swing the other way, DLC or not, to the PS4 if there is a significant downgrade in performance on the One)
