Thats why i excluded pokemon. MH4G wont do 2.5mil (japan only) and YW2 should do 1mil-2mil. Only SSB for 3DS has a chance to be the highest selling exclusive but wiiu version comes out right after and its first time on HH.

Though Halo can outsell it as SSB has never been on HH and i dont kno how much it'll do overall, Halo has X1  userbase which can hinder it to sell lets say 5mil this year. X1 should be 10mil-12mil by years end. But then again Halo is MS biggest franchise.

SSB can do anywhere between 2mil-6mil by years end. Just really depends!

Even then 3DS shouldnt be included at all including Smash Bros and Monster Hunters. Im just saying its simply not fair given the length of time each console has been out and price differences widely range from one another(hardware and software).

Only Kirby + Pokemon xy have done well. But i do get your point. MH4G wont be as high as you think, only SSB (thats if its huge) on 3ds and pokemon OR/AS will do well (3mil+). If we dont include HH, then Halo + MK looks to take the prize. Maybe SSB but its realising late and it'll be a leg game!

I think you are slightly overestimating the sales of Pokémon OR/AS. Remakes usualy don't sell as much as a new gen. X/Y did incredibly well partly because of the new 3d graphics (and obviously it's pokémon). It sold 11mil atm. OR/AS will clearly sell less than that. The thing is that they will only have 2months (november/december) to sell units for the year. It will sell around 5mil at most. (I know I'll be picking up a copy :D)

Back on topic, I think MK8 will win. It's already standing at 2mil, the best selling exclusive of the year atm. The thing with MK8 is that it will keep selling healthy amount of units all year. It will have a big boost on the holidays, I even expect it to go back in the top 10 despite the game being half a year old. If it's bundled it will be a given.

Halo has a shot. But I don't think smash does. Smash on 3DS will sell really well but less than the WiiU version. And the launch of WiiU's smash will bring a boost of WiiU hardware bringing a boost in MK8 units (even more if it's bundled). So despite Smash doing really well, it will only help MK8 solidify it's head start over all other games.
