Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor might be one of the surprise packages of 2014. We saw the game at E3 2014 and the game’s nemesis system, a mechanic which memorizes the  player’s interactions with characters that they will encounter in the game and dynamically changes their relationship with the character, is intriguing.

But what about the technical aspects of the game? Given that the game is coming out on PS4 and Xbox One, can players expect the game to run at 1080p and 60fps on both consoles? It certainly seems the case for the PlayStation 4 version.

“It’s definitely 1080p and we are going to do everything we can to get to 60 frames per second, ” Monolith’s Studio Head Kevin Stephens said in a 2 hour long live stream of the game conducted by TwinGalaxies.

When asked about the Xbox One version, the developers simply did not respond. Don’t ask me why.

So what did the dev do? Get up and walk out of the room. lol

He doesn't say it will be 60fps, only that they will try to get there. Seems like another non story until it is confirmed to be a story. ???

Calling it now; 1080p/30fps on PS4 and 900p/30fps on XB1

I think that XOne version will be 900p, but doesn't matter, what matters is the game.

someone should just make an official thread for "xbox vs ps4 multiplat performance" and then every time a game releases we can just add to that table and stop making new threads.

Nice! The demos looked really good, even if they were PC versions most probably, so it seems it won't be just a lazy port with bumped resulotion on the PS4.
