Evolve looked boring unless you actually have a team of friends. Like I feel that the game would suck if you ever decide to play alone in a random match.

The awards were already bullshit when Xenoblade X was not nominated for RPG.

I've been looking forward to Evolve ever since a random article on this site brought my attention to it. Looks like great fun with the friends and I like that it appears to be very strategic, plus I'm in love with the art style.

To each their own though.

The game has to be playable by judges (technically they just have to be able to touch the controller to verify it's a playable build) same reason that The Witcher 3 didn't win.

I don't really see how Evolve got so many awards. From what I saw of it I didn't see anything that would make me want to buy the game. But maybe that's just me. If a lot of other people liked it then good for them. I hope the game is good.

I'm not excited for Evolve personally, but I can see why others would be.
