Yes, I have predicted wii u sales plenty of times, but it is time I and everybody else stop.

Will it fail? Maybe...

Will it Dominate? Maybe...

Will it sell averge? Maybe...

There is no general idea yet, so many games are coming and going, but we just have to wait and see. There is no easy way to tell. Sometimes Wii U hopes go high but fall again, but, it is possible a sudden spark will erput into a wildfire for the Wii U, and it may go far. So, let's just wait...

I 100% agree. If they promote it right, the console war would be OVER. Nintendo would have gaming in their hands.

Do sales actually matter? No. With that said, people here (including me) still find it interesting.

The wiiU will not be a success. That's all I can say. There's no evidence suggesting it will. Nintendo just launched it's biggest franchise on the wiiU (yes Mario kart is there biggest franchise), and it only had a large effect for 2 weeks on the sales. I think that's pretty good evidence that the wiiU won't have the best sales.
So I'm going to correct your original comment.

will it be unsuccessful? most likely.

It is unlikely that anything will make the wiiU erupt. We've seen so many release at this point that are "the wiiU's savior" that I don't expect one to ever really come. 

OP should go ask itself if the WII U will even manage to outsell the vita ...

Wii u can't even outsell the GameCube how will it even dominate?
