I can understand disliking a game and critisizing its faults, but seriously, violence mostly aimed toward women? Especially when just after the writer admits that throughout history, several serial killers preyed only on women?

Yeah that paragraph is really unnecessary... It's a video game review, not a social commentary. To make things worse he even gives the reason to his own complaint. Woman are far more commonly the victim of such crimes than men (likewise men are more commonly the perpetrators) and the game follows that theme. It's a serious real world issue, but criticizing a video game for follow realistic norms is hardly justified.

Maybe we should start complaining that the enemies in military games a more commonly men than woman. Screw logical extension of the real world, i refuse to play COD unless everyone i'm murdering is a woman!

Sounds ridiculous to me as well, if the game is about crimes, it is only normal to me, I really did not get this review.

I agree with you, do we want equality even in murder? This is as dumb as the criticism on RE5 for the black zombies in Africa.

So if most crimes of violence happen to women and this game shows the same then I don't see the problem. It's realism.
