Forums - Gaming - 28 June 2014, weekly chartz hype!

Hmmm top 10 for me largely based on order of release

1. LoU Remastered: Well I'm excited to make the journey to platinum once again and of course to try Left Behind and Grounded Mode for the first time since I never got DLC for the original. Not to mention I have a friend who I'll be playing through it with when the school year starts and DAMN I know she gonna love it haha (big scary movie fan but not a gamer at all so doesn't know how great a game story can be).

2. Destiny: Played the Alpha. Loved it. Gonna play the Beta and pre-order (gonna pick up a couple white controllers too). It's just so massive and I already had a good 4 person squad going in the Alpha so it should be a blast in Beta and final to go questing and really progress (past level 8) together.

3. Smash U: What can I say it's Smash Bros! Gonna be the only guy in my group of friends with a WiiU and gonna pick up a Gamecube controller or two to have a blast with!

4.  The Crew:  This is the most excited I've been for any car game (I hestitate to say racer) since Burnout 3.  The cross-country road-trips I'm gonna have with some friends just seem like they're gonna be such a blast.

5. LBP3:  Can't go wrong with Sackboy and EIGHT MILLION pre-existing levels along with a most likely great new SP and fun sidekicks

6. FC4: Villain looks great, setting is interesting and lends itself well to the chaos and variety I love in FC, and the co-op looks fun (even if they don't own it!)

7. The Order:  Cinematic gameplay at its best and that is not a bad thing in my book.  The weapons look cool and the monster sections look scary as hell.  Graphics are insane and playing this with some rumble surround sound headphones on will be one hell of an immersive experience.  I just know it'll be one I revisit again and again

8.  The Wither 3: This open world looks just as good if not better than Skyrim.  It'll be my first Witcher game so I'm cautiously optimistic about the combat which has mixed reviews but the world and story always get high marks from those I trust (and I plan on catching up with the story before it releases).

9.  Ratchet Remake:  Did I ever tell you guys what my favorite game series of all time is (hint in profile pic and titles)?  Nuff said

10. Batman AK: WOW the single biggest jaw-dropper during the E3 conference.  That gameplay looked so seamless and fantastic that I just joined the theater in the biggest applause when it finished

Honorable mentions are obviously Uncharted which is just too far away and Bloodborne which I'm reserving judgement on because even though I platinumed Demon's Souls I wasn't the BIGGEST fan of how long everything took and the checkpoint system.  Also I'll probably end up buying ACU at some point but I always end up re-selling those games after beating them lol
