phantom pain was 1080 60FPS on PS4 and 720 60FPS on Xb1 with a few downgraded missing effect from the PS4 version also So if thats anything to go buy

would much rather have 30FPS with much better visuals some stuff from PP looked last gen to me and as seen in the video in here there is massive pop in while riding the horse totally takes away from the immersion

I looks really good. If the visuals really are "downgraded," I give Kojima major props for sacrificing visuals for a smoother gameplay experience. Still looks good. Runs even better.

Why are people calling this open world though? Unless I'm crazy and blind, this is still very much a linear game. It's just that the individual areas are much bigger than they used to be.

Took me over an hour and a half to download. Screw bittorrent; I just snagged it with download helper. It's actually "only" about 1.8 gigs. The video looks real nice on my plasma TV.

I loved MGS4 but I didn't like Sons of Liberty or Snake Eater so I'm still cautiously optimistic about The Phantom Pain. Still though, at least there are finally a few games now (this, along with Evolve and the prospects of Uncharted 4) that have me a bit excited for this gen outside of Nintendo.

But but but.... next gen consoles are too weak to do 1080p @60fps when the game looks marginally good and/or are open world.

The Phantom Pain is a port of a last gen game though.
