I'm not sure, but I know I still have 1.7 TB left on the hard drive so it is a non issue.

For the price of one year of Xbox Live or PS+ you can get an external hard drive(they even have some options that would equal a 3 month subscription) so the price of expansion shouldn't be used as a negative argument.

Internal? Well I moved everything from the internal to external HDD, so whatever was left from the standard basic model after formatting. Probably 5 GB. External has over 950 GB remaining.

Internally less than 1GB, but like a few other people said for the price of a years subscription to live or ps+ you can buy a decent 500GB HDD and a Y-cable.

Think I had something like 250mb left when I said fudge it and got an external hdd. The internal storage just isn't enough if you want to take advantage of the eShop sales.
