Kinect, voice commands, app switching - Huge No, big no and no

Resume games - never felt the need and i doubt i'll use it when PS4 has it

Twitch - this would be the only thing i'd remotely call an advantage but only if I used my consoles in the living room; i don't, so I don't need it. Not to mention PS4's PS live has the interact feature which is better and something that you can't actually do on any other twitch-able device

battery life - Batteries? No thanks

Frequent updates - that's a big disadvantage. i'm already annoyed with PS4's updates, the less the better.

Exclusives - Only interesting one is Sunset Overdrive, not enough.

I have a gaming PC and i use all my gaming devices on the same exact place and display/monitor, so "console exclusives" and things that i'd prefer to do on a PC instead of a console will never sway me towards a XB1.

I actually highlights a trend that's running through the media (particularly American) at the moment. Everything that was a negative last gen has now become either irrelevent or a possitive for an American company.

This is a misleading article. At $400 you aren't getting some of the stuff they talked about in the article cause well..... you aren't getting kinect.

This is a stretch if I ever seem one.
Include an advantage for the kinectless sku that need Kinect is disingenous.
Say twitch works better on ps4 then say it's advantage to x1 because it seems more integrated is strange.
AA instead of battery and ignore that if you can keep sets of charged but not that a second control or cable cover it (and charge in any usb port). I have swapped my 2 controls for 6 years and they still take a week of normal use to deplet. But every time I need a charged AA for my other eletronics I see I forgot to charge and can't use a cable meaning play ended.
I don't see constant updates as good (constant added functions is) and background update+ standby updates on ps4 are great. The program affects a small part of users and some complained of problems.
And at last the titles. For X1 sounds as permanent and for Ps4 seems like they will be lost soon.
If he asked me what x1 have that ps4 don't I would say Day one edition in stock, and that is sadly the truth.

X1 has some other stuff like the cloud and more entertainment features. 

I own the PS4 and the XBO and really, none of the advantages I've seen in either thread is really all that great. I could name a couple of REAL advantages of one over the other but I won't. No need to fuel the fire. I'll just say that the PS3 and 360 can do things that the 8th gen successors can't (yet). To me, that's so sad.

Americans like to give people/companies a second chance and root for the underdog. Especially when the underdog has come out and publicily apoligized and are proving it too.

And strangely they don't list them . I don't care about the entertainment features but those are real. Kinect still haven't show much, but certanty of dedicated servers is real and positive. And more exclusives that if are for your taste is a win, since games is what matters most.
