Kind of simplistic way to see that. I can say the Xbox One controller is superior them because:

- It gives you the choise to use battery (which last way longer than the DS4 or rechargable kits).

I like your enthusiam and, imo, the Xbox One controller feels better than the DS4 but:

-PS4 lets you stream audio through the controller too.

-PS4 lets you use a USB cable, also (I use the one from my Wii U!)

-Motion controls (XBO's controller uses Kinect to track the controller, though), touch pad, and speaker

Gotta be fair.  For  me, the XBO's controllwr just feels better and more precise but I can't speak for anybody else.

You can stream the audio (not only chat or effect but the whole game audio, including TV audio, or movies etc..) through the DS4 controller (And one different channels)? I did not know that, are you sure?

But in general I was trying to make apoint: saying the DS4 is superior is kind of pointless and demonstrated that many things can be said about both controller and we can all subjectively place one on top of the other.

Heh, fair enough. That charger/dock looks pretty nifty, actually..

For me, I usually keep my controllers plugged in (when running low) until fully charged; and it doesn't bother me. But your way works too!

But you're making these guidelines and ideas of "what classes as an exclusive" without really specifying it though. I do consider the last two exclusives, not TLoU however as that is a remake. Were it say a Naughty Dog collection, then yeah.  Perhaps that's just me.

It's not my criteria. It's the criteria of Vgc that was determined long ago to stop conversations like this from happening. Games that share portable versions weren't able to be called exclusives for Playstation and games that shared PC versions for the xbox.

VGC criteria? What is that lol An exclusive is an exclusive, then it depends of the context that's it...

You can have console, platform (PC, Xbox, Playstation, etc...), console platform exclusives, etc... There is no universaly acclaimed "criteria" like you imply. Actually, I see people using "criteria" based on their agenda more than often :)

It's coming in the mail this Tuesday, which is good. The reviews look good, price is affordable, and it's an officially licensed product. It's just annoying mid game having the controller die and then wait for a long time. My gaming sessions last a long time, so they drain fast apparently.

Nice. Yeah, the reviews look decent. I'll probably pick up something like that when I get my PS4. It would reduce some clutter around my TV; which would be nice, seeing I have so much crap plugged in there at the moment.

But yea I get that. And it doesn't help when DS4 only has 8-10 hour battery life. Honestly, Sony should give the option to turn that lightbar off.

bought these and never had to worry about the batteries on the ps4 going out ever again...

OT.. the advantages listed in the article are the very things that is killing the x1.. beyond the "game resume", which the ps4 will get soon enough, everything else is related to kinect and tv.. it that's advantage.. then the x1 can keep their advantage.

True but it also has Forza Horizon, The Master Chief Collection, and Project Spark, which are games the PS4 won't get. 


Cool, LBP3, TLoU, and DC plus lots more for ps4.... So how is your statement qualified? 

both have dedicated servers and bonth have many exclusives coming this year. each side is going to belitle the others exclusives witch is just pointless and the conversation will last forever. with thouse 2 things aside that leaves thouse advantages for x1 as a totat joke witch are not even real most of them cuz you need 100 kiknect for it.
