So if you paid close attention to the trailer you might notice that link is wearing the tunic from wind waker and the art style doesn't it seem like a mix of skyward sword and wind waker and lastly if you remember the ending of spirit tracks link and zelda find a new continent and again in the trailer you see that land isn't that populated which would make sense since it's a new continent

 

*EDIT* I screwed up when i said "ending of spirit tracks link and zelda find a new continent" It's not spirit tracks where they find the new continent it's between the phantom hourglass and spirit tacks

That's not necessarily true, there's little to no people in the overworld's in Zelda games.
