Uncharted 2! I think I've reached my limit when it comes to replaying Uncharted games. Done so many replays of U1 and U2. It's ironic that people critise it for being linear and cinematic yet it has insane replay value :)

Will add you tomorrow when I'm back on my PS4. Maybe we can try out some resogun co-op!

I just finished playing through 1 again and am quite shocked about how much I could remember precisely. Enemies spawn points and precise strategies for various locations, they almost came out in muscle memory! I'm playing them through as part of my quest to platinum every Naughty Dog game. It's not going great so far with just Jak 1 (on PS3 and Vita), Uncharted 1 and 2. Next up is 3, then the Last of Us, though survivor mode might kill me

Sounds good, at the very least it'll be nice to have more people to compete with!

I ve platinumed every Naughty Dog game. None of them are terribly difficult, though each new game does get marginally harder to platinum.

Uncharted 1 is the easiest, Uncharted 2 has essentially the same trophies, then Uncharted 3 is a tad more difficult, and bucks the trend of the same trophies (disapointingly there are less gold and silver trophies to be had as well). Then The Last of Us is the hardest, luckily the is (or at least was) an exploit that allowed to to play on the hardest difficulty plus mode (surviver, i think), without having to playing and complete it first. that helped out a lot, because i had a lot of upgrades and guns and stuff.

The Hardest game to Platinum is Bend's Uncharted Vita game, not only because the unfortunately hard trophy list but also due to inexplicable spikes in difficulty throughout the game, especially the final boss fight

I barely managed one playthrough of U3...never ever thought of replaying it. A bit of a dissapointment when i look back :/

Yeah, I only managed a playthrough and a half, time to go back to it. But U2 was just so good it could never live up to it

I actually found 1 the hardest by a distance, probably because the controls are just that much more clunky

As for the Last of Us, I've already found the survivor + gltich, but now I've read the best thing to do is to play it through backwards, because it saves your resources between chapters so if you play through on easy first, it makes things easier for your grounded playthrough, but I don't think I'm even going to try that

But I'm definitely getting off topic

I think we should buy the DLC since it's cheap and most us got the game for free

Sorry for the 3rd post in a row, but this one is firmly on topic!

I just actually played the DLC, not quite sure what to make of it. Let's go step by step (I haven't tested out local co-op)

Main game - They've improved some menu and HUD stuff which is nice. They've also added a statistics page which says 0 for everything. I remember this happening in Super Stardust a lot, there's no point in it if it just keep sending you back to 0. Uncharted 2 has a similar issue where it's not clear whether the stats are for one gameplay, or all of them, or a couple

I only played a level on rookie and it's clearly much easier than before, borderline boring. Rookie used to get my heart racing a bit, but as I warm up again, I'll move back to the proper difficulty settings

Ship editor - I downloaded the X-Wing and Gummi ship immediately and they look nice, but I found making a ship a bit of a pain. I'm not sure why, but it just seems so fiddly. Speaking of the gummi ship, the KH I (HD remix, but I think it's the same) editor was much better, certainly in terms of moving in 3 dimensions with the d-pad (use shoulder buttons for height) and I felt the camera was lacking.

But the only issues with the end result were in artistic design, that's my bad

Survivor - Should be fun, probably need some more time to adjust

Demolition - Dunno. I'll give it some more time, but I'm never convinced about their modes where they stray too far from the core gameplay

Overall, the actual DLC isn't that great, but it's a good excuse to get back to a great game. It's also dirt cheap so can be forgiven

I think the stats is at 0 because it's a new feature...it seems like they want all the stats, leaderboards etc. to only reflect whats been played in the updated version. Otherwise i believe stats accumulate across multiple games.

Rookie is definitely easier..it really is in slow motion. The other difficulties, starting from experienced have gotten significantly harder.

I feel like they perfectly nailed the difficulty level in the original version. But considering that they not only tweaked the diffuculty but also the effectiveness of the ships along with shorter overdrives, shorter boosts and weaker weapons, it doesnt feel as balanaced.

These are obviously design decisions though, i think the DLC is worth the money. I would have charged more if i were sony lol XD not much more though.

I like it, survival is quite addictive. Got 355 million Points with some random .

Also got all trophies for it :)
