That might be it, but I am not 100% certain.  It definitely looks similar if it isn't.

edit: Yeah, it probably is it.  Says it's from 2000 (14 years ago, so pretty old), and the character kind of looks like a dog (but is a bunny apparently), and you do save animals, there is a level editor, and the graphics are pretty basic, though I suppose I may have been remembering them as worse than they were.

The only thing I can think of is Rayman.

He kinda looks like a dog, and I believe there was a level editor.

Hey guys, I'm also trying to remember a game but my memory is pretty cloudy. It was a browser based game and I played it around 2000-2005 through a link on a website.   It is probably much older then that as that link was just for diehard players who still enjoyed the game.  It was a strategy game on tiles completely 2D and you played other human players online. If I remember you each had different monsters or aliens  that had different abilities that would battle each other. Anybody have any idea?
