While I think it's a great game, my GOTY so far is Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. The year hasn't been too impressive so far though so there's not much competition at the moment.

For me personally it's definitely between Mario Kart or Tropical Freeze. Really tough to decide between them.

We ought to wait until Smash Bros. comes out, but it is definitely one of the best games to come out in 2014 :D

MK8 is my favorite so far this year. I am a big fan of Wolfenstein New Order as well for probably my favorite not on a Nintendo Console
