Dafuq? It's not unheard of for games to get ported or "remastered" for newer systems.

lol thats the point, how do you not see that? its nonsensical (in my OPINION) to remaster games that are less than a year old.

It makes a lot of sense to remaster something less than a year old in a business perspective and a lot of sense to pick it up in a consumer perspective. If you can see those reasons than instead of make a unfunny trolling thread why don't you make one asking for opinions why it's needed

What in the actual fuck...

yeah, except they obviously aren't going to remaster a game that is already out on those platforms.  It's a nonsense topic, the answer as an obvious no, they wouldn't.  If you wanted to pick a game that isn't out on the x1 and ps4, sure, you could discuss that.  Here... there is no discussion...

except it isn't for people that didn't pick up the games on previous generation consoles.  It's just a late port, not sure why that would be nonsense?  It is just expanding the amount of platforms the title is available on.  It's like saying porting mass effect 2 to the ps3 was nonsensical.

Also, if your point is remasters are nonsensical, then the title of the thread should be remasters are nonsense and then go into reasons why you believe that way.  That would faciliate discussion.  Your OP as it is, is nonsense.  faciliates no discussion, and basically is just an invitation for people to comment on your failed attempt at being humorous...

i guess they should just remaster pretty much everything that came out toward the end of the generation. more worthwhile than making something new i guess. in case people didnt have a ps3 or 360. and porting something across a platform in the same generation isnt the same as rereleasing the same game with slightly better graphics and passing it off as the definitive or complete experience lol. its all a well orchestrated trap and people are buying into it. its absolutely amazing to me.

If you have some points you want to argue about, by all means make a freaking a thread about it!

While there is nothing funny about the OP, I would like to take this time to talk about recently released games getting remastered.

I see alot of people complaining and even annoyed about the recent remasters. However, some fail to realize it is not only a remaster, but also a port. Last of Us was NEVER on the PS4 and alot of people who own PS4s never played it. So what Naughty Dog did was take an amazing game, increase the graphical fidelity and release a game of the year edition on the PS4. I skipped the PS4 and I was even considering buying a PS3 just to play LOU, now I get the definitive version of the game without having to buy a PS3.

And I was praying for a GTA V port to PS4. It was an amazing game that I want to experience all over again. Now I can experience it with even more gorgeous graphics. Not only that, but I can remote play both of these games on my Vita!

People that complain about PS4 getting the 2 best games from the last generation are just ingorant and dumb in my opinion.

Thanks for listening.

im saying what if they made a remastered version of it anyway.. would it be surprising? would it be completely ridiculous? i think theyre going overboard with the remasterings so if they did this, maybe that would be the final straw for some people and they would see it the way i already see it. im trying to see when enough is enough with the remasterings.

You, the one who doesn't even play the remasters, are saying enough is enough. Yeah, I think they'd rather let their market speak for themselves.

They will just set the E3 version to on and sell it as a new remastered version for sure!!!
