Dick move by Sony period. They need to give people their $10 back. They need to have the same policy as Amazon when it comes to pre-orders.

No, I'm not a part of that site but I'll read some articles on it and there is a troll who goes by the name true_fan there that has o.ly one bubble and everytime they comment they get like 100 disagree votes. The comments are always about how sony sucks dick and Ms is the greatest who does everything better

Over exaggerations like this are stupid.No one said they are gods or are defending this bad policy, but people should really read the agreement before they preorder/buy anything.Which is why I only preorder physical games.Nice try though.

Exactly.This policy should be changed and why else would they change it unless customers complain? As if another company took DRM away to please customers and not because the competition was getting better responses.

I'll tell you what the actual story here is. Games almost never get price changes before release, it's just not historically common at all. Every corporation has it's structures and policies, and they rigidly go through them. In this case the decision to lower the price of the title leaves the preorder in a weird place where there's no precedent for the peons in customer service to go on. It's plainly obvious that they will adjust it (possibly even with a small bonus) once someone with actual decision making capacity gets the word. Sony isn't salivating over the $10 that a handful of extremely silly people paid over the previous price for a DIGITAL pre order, lmao.

It is just a case where there was no precedent for the bottom tier rep to deal with it, and no corporation gives their bottom rung employees any real leeway in cases like this.

Also, LOL at anyone who is attacking Sony on this that is a Microsoft fan. Did Microsoft refund anyone who bought an XB1 and predorder of Titanfall in February $110 when they made a $450 bundle? I think not.

Sony isn't stupid. People will get their refunds, because Sony doesn't want the PR mess this will cause if left unattended.

That's some weird logic right there. Different countries, different deals? Everyone who managed to pre-order in Japan got their free Knack copy the first week. You'd have a point if the first 100k pre-orders didn't get Knack for free and the rest ~230k who pre-ordered it later did get it. Everyone who pre-ordered got their free copy in Japan, so your analogy doesn't work.
