I hope a lot of XBONE owners decide to not purchase it.

Sony might be winning with the PS4, but they're losing in the games department.

They have no big exclusive games coming out. Wii U has Captain Toad, Bayonetta 1 & 2, Hyrule Warriors and Super Smash Bros. 4. XBONE has that amazing Halo collection edition and Sunset Overdrive. Sony has a remake from a year old game. LBP3 is also on PS3.

Lol, you know you're biased when you're touting Captain Toad as a big name exclusive.

Thanks jlmurph!

1 year is not long. In comperison MS had GTA4 stuff for a year right? They paid $50million for it too

1 year might as well be  an eternity for me. The only games I've played for more than a year are SSBM, Mario Kart DD, and Mario Power Tennis - and that was only because I couldn't afford many other games back then.

It's better than absolutely nothing for holiday 2014. Like is the case of PS4.

Captain Toad is part of Mario, biggest game franchise in the world.

Anyway, if you guys are happy with PS4's line-up for 2014 then that's fine! I just wouldn't be if it was my main console.

Well, 1. You keep mysteriously ignoring Driveclub and 2. I fixed your last sentence for you.

Thanks jlmurph!

Biggest franchise, yes.  However, of late, it doesn't seem to be having the same world encompassing effect.

Drive games, yeah, those definitely aren't the most milked out games in the world.

Well, after FPS games.

True, but as long as the quality of the games is as good as ever I'm not that worried! I know I'll like Captain Toad for the simple fact I liked the Captain Toad levels in SM3DW. So yeah, I'm excited for it. :) But apparently it doesn't count unless it has guns and cars in it.

Yeah...because Mario games haven't been milked at all.

Not the ones I buy.

I hate 2D Mario games and Mario Party for that exact reason. How many Captain Toad games have we gotten? Exactly, zero.

That's the problem here, if Nintendo has just you as it's customer, they're in big trouble.  Clearly, that's not the case, but it's approaching bad territory on the Wii U.  Every single one of us is used to seeing Mario numbers obliterate all competition, regardless of where it lands.  The fact that that's changed is kind of a big deal.

You're also forgetting the obvious here, and that is that nobody is saying Nintendo sucks.  I actually like Nintendo, I just feel I get a broader scope of games by having a PC and a playstation, and also a wider variety of games that appeal to me.  From kid games to adult.  It's not a knock against Nintendo that they choose to go their own way, it has worked _very_ well for them in the past.  But, that doesn't mean that for every Mario fan, there isn't a person who likes a driving game, or a GTA, or a shooter, or a TPS, or an RTS etc...  We realize it doesn't appeal to you, but you are not everyone in the gaming sphere.
