Biggest franchise, yes.  However, of late, it doesn't seem to be having the same world encompassing effect.

True, but as long as the quality of the games is as good as ever I'm not that worried! I know I'll like Captain Toad for the simple fact I liked the Captain Toad levels in SM3DW. So yeah, I'm excited for it. :) But apparently it doesn't count unless it has guns and cars in it.
