First off it is not a quote from the wiik in review and secondly it is a quote largely taken out of context as flamebait. The guy said it was slightly dissapointing visually and then went on to praise the gameplay. His only complaint was it wasn't quite pretty enough in his eyes. He thought the gameplay was great and was excited about the game overall.

Well I should not worry to much if other sites say the same then you may worry about the game;..

Well it is one of the Nintendo Franchises that I really don't care about..

The Wii-k-inreview guys responded by calling them asses.

The 360 podcast guys don't play the Wii, and they are pretty much 360 fanboys, except for the one guy who is a PS3 fanboy. The Wii-k-review guys are asses, but they actually love the Wii and play it all the time. That's why the 360 guys don't review Wii games, and vice-versa.

It's also why the site is disrespected. All the fanboys, none of them know much about the industry, and that's not my Wii-love talking either. :P

Lemme just clear it up for everyone though. This is not the Wiik-n-review podcast. The Nintendo guys(who do the Wiik-n-review) previewed Kart, and had positive things to say. You can read those here:

IGN is a mediocre website, yes, but you have to remember that's because most of the staff are fanboys. The PS3 guys hate on the 360, and vice versa, and they both hate on the Wii and even Brawl(which luckily skipped your attention a couple of weeks ago, when the whole new petty "Brawl is for little kids" hate spewed from the 360 side, and the Wii-k-review guys responded on their podcast with as much of a flame as they were allowed to comment with.)

IGN is a crappy website because there are cliques and they seperate their coverage into teams, who all end up biased. Not because the Wii guys hate Nintendo, they're actually pretty huge Wii fans, and barely criticized Brawl, and have since halfway retracted those statements.

IGN is the most opinionated review site on the net. Their reviews are not averages, and they aren't strictly enforced. Their opinions are not "reviews" and should be taken with a grain of salt. Look at God Hand, NMH, and a lot of other recent reviews. They do get insider info though, and are worth a glance. I listen to Wiik-n-review sometimes, but don't get offended over every word they say, its just 2 nintendo fanboy tards bullshitting for an hour.

And in the end everyone,except for IGN and die hard Sony(MS)-only fans,will fall in love with it. ;)

Does the guy kinda sound like Legend's avatar looks? He's the one who was on their a few weeks ago, and said that the 360 was dead, cause of Blu-Ray, and that Brawl was a game for little kids because it had "little kid characters."

Seriously, I do believe its the same guy. He is ALWAYS saying crap just to anger fanboys, and he often has no clue what he's talking about. The same IGN guy who was on Xplay a few weeks back to talk about the Epic lawsuit, that guy. Man, he's such a troll on those podcasts. Sometimes the other guys just don't know how to react to him. I chose to stop listening and supporting the 3 Red Lights podcast because of his last appearance. 

I dunno, it'll probably score well if its a great game, unless it gets Bozonized, that (removed personal insult in edit, myself, in an attempt to "act right") bastard, lol.

and there's this weird thing where people think bozon is like a 360 editor planted with the wii team just cause he loves CoD4 and voted it game of the year. I think RE5 looks great, that doesn't mean im a 360/ps3 plant consumer who happens to own a wii. for god sakes the guy has already logged like 50 hours in brawl. and i think his reviews are fine.

Look at the games that are considered to be the best on the system: zak and wiki 9.0, galaxy 9.7, zelda 9.5, metroid 9.5, RE4 9.0.... the No more heroes score was a little low for some tastes (7.8), but that game got a wide range of reviews.... it's averaging an 83 with scores like a 60 from game informer and 7.5 from 1-up.

overall, i like the ign guys from each department. and if someone happens not too, there are plenty of other game sites.

ps. for the third time, greg miller (on the psn team) can't wait for brawl. it is possible for people to like games hitting other consoles.
