Forums - Sony - Sony CEO Apologizes as PS4 Maker Restructures for Growth

Every student in 22 jump street had a Vaio. Lol and the duo had Xperias. The amazing spider man was even worse (not saying worse as in bad). Even before the film started you saw SONY film productions or Columbia a SONY company. Both these movies have been box office successes.

While watching the world cup all I see in the background is Sony 4k tv.

It's hard to imagine with PS4 doing so well, Xperia breathing life into the phone division and box office successes this year that they will STILL lose money.

Saw 22 Jump Street this past weekend. Was riddled with Sony products and advertising but a hilarious movie overall. It should do good this summer.

The first shot when you see (I think Jonah hill first)in class and every student in the audience had a Vaio had me "oh goding." I don't think I would have noticed all the branding though if that thread about sony product placement in ASM2 wasn't made. 22 opening weekend was the best for a comedy. Sony still has think like a man 2, deliver us from evil and sextape this summer. I'm going to see all of them because my sister works at the theater and I can take pictures if the stubs and get sony rewards.

I do actually think Sony might make a profit soon. I hope they do, cause then I no longer have to worry about Sony going bankrupt. That would be both amazing and a huge relief for me as a PS fan.

Remember the frat "choosing" scene on the projector?  PlayStation 4 and Sony Xperia Z2 tablet advertising on Facebook lol. But yeah EVERYTHING electronic in that movie was Sony lol. I might see a couple of those movies mentioned.

I remember the twins playing (I think) KZ:SF in their dorm. Don't remember the Facebook ad though. Did you see spiderman? When I read the thread here I was like "it can't be that bad..." but it was haha. As for the movies mentioned, only one I'd pay for is deliver us from evil. The others will be out of boredom

How long can they operate under these conditions before something definitive happens?

Or are they going to post losses and be business as usual forever? I don't get it. How much is too much?

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Just read an article on think like a man 2... Looks like that was damn cheap to make and will be another successful movie at the box office (24m budget with an estimated 35m opening weekend) . How the fuck did Sony let themselves get so fucked...

Nah haven't seen it. Only usually go to the movies if:

1. My gf wants to go see a movie.

2. Payback from my gf dragging me to see a movie lol. (Its how I saw Cap 2, she made me see Divergent. -_-)

The first one was even better profit. 12 million to make, got them around 90 million.

What looks to be missing from this article, is that the shareholders did have a Vote and chose to Retain Kaz as CEO.

Would be interesting to see if Iwata would dare put his job up for a vote.
