No 232 50.00%

For retail games 20 4.31%

Maybe because... 24 5.17%

I count all games release on PC as exclusive, because I don't play console games.

Not really, this is a response to multiple comments above stating: "It is exclusive, because I don't play PC games/own a PC". That is like saying Watchdogs is exclusive to Xbox One, because it is the only console I own, and I don't play PC games.

Exclusive games are on one platforms. Feel free to use whatever other term you want for non-exclusive games to make you console look better. Here are what you should use:

Exclusive: Only on ONE platform. (Uncharted 4/ Halo 5)
Console exclusive: Only on one console, but on PC or handhelds as well. (Fable 3/Alan Wake)
Sony/Microsoft console exclusive: Only on Sony/MS consoles (Titanfall/ MLB The Show)
Next-gen console exclusive: Only one of the following PS4/XB1/WiiU, but on previous gen consoles.(Titanfall/ MLB The Show)

Also, feel free to use: 1080p exclusive, region Exclusive, timed exclusive, exclusive DLC, exclusive content, etc.

YMMD! Very good answer! ;)

Don't care. Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, and whatever PS4 has like MLB or FF14.......if they are on one and not the other it deserves mentioning.

Granted many don't operate under strict XB1 vs PS4 mindsets....but they should ;)

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Feel free to explain why, specially considering that it actually benefits PS4 more.

Well, even if it's available on a PC, technically it's exclusive to the console. It's a marketing ploy to sell more in the consoles.

For everyone reference, here are the Wikipedia list of games for PS4/XBox One.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_4_games

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_One_games

Here is the reference for exclusivity:

Exclusivity

  • Yes = Exclusive only to this computing platform.
  • Microsoft = Exclusive to Microsoft's platforms.
  • Sony = Exclusive to Sony's platforms.
  • Console = Not available on competing video game consoles, but is available on PCs or other platforms.
  • Timed = Confirmed as exclusive for a certain period of time, but will become available on other platforms later.
  • No = Available to more than one console of this console generation.

No I don't count games like Titanfall and FF XIV: ARR as exclusives.

Well I for one consider including PC a weakness. Because it no longer becomes XB1 vs PS4. It becomes XB1 vs PS4 + PC. This tells me PS4 is inferior by itself as a PS fan needs another system to compete with X1's library.

I don't care what people play but when I compare X1 to PS4, I compare what one has that the other can't do. Nothing else matters and games shouldn't be sweeped under the rug because anothe system not in the comparison can play them.

You're contradicting yourself. You just made it clear that you need to exclude PC is order to compete with PS4's library, hence that is a XB1 weakness. There isn't a "PS4 vs XB1" bubble. Those aren't the only 2 options. If it's on PC it's not exclusive. If you need to include PC games then the XB1 is inferior by itself.
