Is somebody watching the Academy Awards.

Why would I do that?

While I normally don't give a flying fig, I've seen a bunch of the films this year and I'm curious to see how Jon Stewart pulls it off sans preparation time.

I'm pulling for There Will be Blood. I think it's my favourite film of the year.

Usually I would but my parents won't let me this year. So instead I'm on VGChartz.
I really want to see who wins.
This is supposed to be the biggest thing since the strike.

Why won’t your parents let you watch an award show.

I loved TWBB and think Daniel Day Lewis deserves Best Actor by a longshot but overall, I liked No Country For Old Men just a bit more.

Juno and Michael Clayton were good but they're not even in the same league as TWBB and NCFOM. I haven't seen Atonement yet and have little interest in ever doing so.

So many others want to see No Country get it....but Daniel Day Lewis and P.T. Anderson are getting my vote (as if I have one). 

I'm sorry, no country for Old Men really was the best, I hope it wins, a lot, (javier Bardem will) but I do believe Daniel Day Lewis deserves his oscar.

I'm pulling for Blood, but the patriot in me wants Juno, Away From Her and Eastern Promises to win as many awards as they can.

I really need to see Eastern Promises. I love just about everything Cronenberg does, and I've had people I trust very much say that it is one of they're favourite films of the year.
