I opened this thread two years ago and I think it's time for a new edition.

Please take part in the poll. I know giving a numerical value to happiness may be silly but I wanna see the overall answers.

I have a confortable job that lets me have as much free time as I want, any time I want (at the expense of money), so I travel and go out with my friends quite often. I also like my job quite a bit, compared to anything else I could be doing. Money is not a problem. Some small health problems that mean I have been going to the doctor often, and it's time to renew my visa, which sucks.

The excitement of being in Japan hasn't gone away, although after two years it's not such a new experience.

Overall, I think I'm a lucky guy.

So I'm gonna go with 8/10.

I can't rate my happiness. I'm not happy, or sad.

Right now I guess I'm 5/10. Nothing interesting or special happening in my life right now but I'm certainly not unhappy or sad.
