The reason people like Midna so much is because she adds more to the plot than every other partner.

I liked Ezlo's backstory more, I liked Tatl's development more, I liked how loyal Navi was, and I liked the KoRL's involvement more.



I can agree with Ezlo and KoRL, but Tatal didn't have much character development IMO.

Midna's development was practically based off of Tatl's.

Midna's development was practically based off of Tatl's.

Twilight Princess' main story is longer tha Majora's Mask, giving more time for her to develop.

Plus, the story behind Midna (And Twilight Princess is general) had a better climax than Majora's Mask IMO.

Well, actually, there's actually a decent amount of people that did...

As for me, I didn't cry at Twilight Princess or Majora's Mask.

Twilight Princess was just epic and my 2nd favorite Zelda ever. Dark story, mature Link, great atmosphere, cool puzzles, it just did the series right in my opinion.  

To be fair, I was 12 when it came out, and Dorkly describes everyone's favorite Zelda pretty accurately:

But you said TP is your second favorite!

So Phantom Hourglass must be your favorite, since you were 13!

Heavens no! Phantom Hourglass, while good, was a weaker entry in the Zelda series.

Ocarina of Time. Twilight is great, but there were several parts that tended to drag on too much (I hated having to find those damn bugs several times as the wolf, for example) and its puzzles were too predictable by then. Still, I loved the gameplay; being able to attack while riding Epona and swing my sword while running were things that need to return to the series.
