beyond this type of shitty game.

I thought you'd never consider buying it. How do you know it is a shitty game then?

I was interested before it got released. After release i saw the reviews and then i thought i'd watch it on Twitch and it still looks terribly bland. So interest destroyed.

But you agree with me that watching a game =/= playing it, right? RIGHT?!

Yeah, no. That's what the developer would want you to think. I'm not going to spend money on it to find out. I've given the game enough chances to prove it's good, it's failed so far. And yes watching is the same, of course i'm not talking about watching 5 minutes. Try an hour

It looked pretty "meh" and then reviews told me that it was pretty bad, so I have no interest in this game. When there are so many great games that I have yet to play, why would I waste my time with this?

Because what others tell you and what you empirical experience may not be the same, that's why.

Interestingly enough, Murdered has just shown up on the Weekly chart

I have no idea what this game is like. Is it any good to begin with?

It is!

Ah, wait, people who have watched videos on youtube or read critics say no. Well, it isn't, sorry :/

I neither have the time nor money to try every game so I tend to pick the games that look like the most fun to me. That doesn't always mean the games that are highest in metacritic, but reviews and impressions from gameplay videos arent worthless. I am a pretty good judge of what I will like (usually) and when reviews back up my first impression that this game is not for me, I tend to listen to my gut and pass on it ^.^

Fair enough. At least, that's an interesting reasoning.
