I don't know. The price cut should do it at least for the US, but the Titanfall bundle was heavily advertised and was a better deal (since you actually gets Kinect and TF).

Despite that, their marketing is terrible. Their most recent ad (the one that was turning on people's X1) simply just showed a guy using all cool Kinect features and then ended showing the US$ 399 SKU that has no Kinect. They are totally lost right now, if the price cut doesn't save them, they will probably just give up.



Bet with jetforcejiminy: PS4 will pass the Wii lifetime numbers.

No pre-orders don't can't as sales, because they can be cancelled. If anything I'd expect ps4 to go down post e3. People could hold off on the ps4 cause they want the white one. And why would their numbers go up but not Xbox. Nintendo had the best e3, and Microsoft and Sony's were close but I'd say Microsoft won.

Hmm, well, I'll stick to my original prediction regardless. Nintendo may have had the best E3, but the majority of their best games aren't coming out until 2015. And Sony has consistently surprised me the generation, so I'll hold out and see.

Sorry, but the BEST Xbox can hope for now is that it beats out the WiiU, and even THAT looks very uncertain!  Don't expect the Xbox to EVER outsell the PS4!  Why would it?  Because it's the same price?  Yes, it is, but it has lower performance as well.  Because of Halo?  PS4 has their own exlcusive titles, and they have a wider diversity of game types than just FPS games.  Because of the Cloud (tm), DX12, or the 10% "boost"?  None of that is going to make up for the deficit it has in overall power compared to the PS4.  Because of Sunset Overdrive?  BWA HA HA HA HA.  Nope...they don't have a SINGLE advantage over their competition, and the trend is only going to accellerate from here on out.  Why?  Because when people game with their friends, they buy the console their friends have...and since more people currently own a PS4, there is going to be a snowball effect happening.  Xbox is all but done...but no one really wants to admit that yet.  Just watch.

What Ben said was for the month though. Think about it, if ps4 sold 50k week one and xb1 sold 25k then week 2 Xb1 would sell at least 25k more than ps4 in us

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

It personally tipped me into ordering the White bundle. Was content with waiting until that point.

 

On a side note, I had cash in pocket for the mk8 bundle but they were sold out everywhere. I think Nintendo missed an opportunity there by not having nearly enough of those. They could have shipped out extra stickers and mk8 copies +wheels for the old stock 32gn units and I would have been just as happy with that.
