Thanks, that settles it for software sales.

Still... NPD thread states Wii U sold 61k in May and PS Vita sold 56k. However, the tables within the thread state 110k for the Wii U and 11k for the PS Vita.
There's some sort of difference there between "NPD numbers" and "VGC numbers", what exactly does all of this mean?
(I'm starting to feel bad about this)

Sure, it says retail only, but surely digital sales aren't that high?

Watch Dogs: It was 4 million globally, not just the US. Plus, 4 million is after a week (June 4th), so it got a few extra days to get 4 million.

Mario Kart: 500k in US only, that isn't taking into account the other regions and digital sales.

Almost done with the newbie stuff - VGChartz home page has completely different numbers from either of those in the NPD thread. I would think those would be the VGC numbers, but they're not only different, they're nowhere near being the same. What's that all about?

Ok I found the source which seems like bs, according to there source which is a large national retailer is not a good source at all.

Vgchartz just Overtracked the wiiu by by almost 200% for mario kart week.
