Forums - Gaming - Capcom now for Sale?

I think Microsoft would benefit more from the buyout of Capcom.

They can cater to both mature and casual market on Xbox one. Securing the Monster Hunter franchise alone could help boost sale of Xbox one in Japan.

THE TIME IS NOW NINTENDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear, if this is true and Nintendo doesn't buy them....

Oh man if MS bought this it would be huge! I would LOVE to see Konami buy them.

They would probably fit better with nintendo... but it would probably make more strategic sense for Microsoft to buy them... However, most likely outcome will be a merger of some sort with another japanese company...

if sega can survive... capcom will.....

the money they make from re re re re re re re re re re re release of street fighter 4, resident evil unopen files of the housekeeper in racoon city, re re re re re re re re re release of monster hunter 4.... is enough cash cow for now

This could be terrible or great. It depends on the buyer. Nintendo may not be the best. They may turn Street Fighter 5 into Street Fighter Baby Brawl! Street Fighter VS Nintendogs! Megaman in Happyland! I shudder to think.

Nintendo never buys anyone out. Sony doesn't have the money to afford Capcom, MS has the money, but they seem more focused on building up internally than buying people externally. So I'm not sure if anyone will really make a bid for them, maybe Amazon?

At first I was like, "Noooooooooooo!" But then I realized this isn't ten years ago and I don't really give a shit what happens to Capcom anymore.
