Didn't Myamoto say that Starfox, project Guard and Giant Robot could all become part of the same game?

If they had some killer apps for the gamepad coming out no later than the2014 holiday season, I think it would help the gamepad cause and help move some Wii u s, but most of the gamepad focused stuff looks to be 2015 at the soonest

I personally like the gamepad but there is so much more they could have done and some they still could do w it- IMO the killer app would have to do w asymmetric gameplay - Off tv play is a killer app for those of us that already have a Wii u- before I had one I thought off TV play was a " nice" feature but not that big a deal - I don t think it will or has brought new sales to the Wii u- but once you have it ( particularly if you have a family, room mates etc) it is hard to do w out

Nintendo made a good effort and showed enthusiasm this e3 which is something they did not seem to do previously IMO - This e 3 made a lot of current Wii u owners and Nintendo supporters happy/ excited but I don think it will help them sell many additional Wii u s anytime soon - Many of the games they showed are 2015 or possibly later - so we are prolly looking at another drought between now and late Sept and another after the holidays until the 2015 games start Rolling in- this point in the Wii u s life cycle I don t see it selling much hardware during droughts - We ll see how long MK8 can boost hardware sales

IMO it is very important the Wii u version of Smash bros is released holiday 2014- I wonder if the delay for the 3ds version means the Wii u version will be delayed as well
