Oh i see, last weak changed everything! Good then. It looks like 2014 will be peak year then. As i don't belive MK8 and Smash could be topped. Only Zelda comes close but that's one game compared to this year's two giants. Thanks by the way. |
Im not saying ur wrong, 2014 could very well be the peak year for Wii U, but I feel there is a strong chance of 2015 surpassing it depending on a few things. Its possible that the big games like Mario Kart and Smash Bros can increase the baseline sales above what they were in the first few months of 2014. 2015 already has a solid amount of exclusives announced, hopefully none get delayed and they release spread out through the year unlike 2013/2014 which had long droughts in between games until the holidays. Also its possible Wii U can get down to $199 by fall 2015 which would likely give it a solid holiday season.
None of these things are gauranteed to happen but they arent outside the realm of possibility either, increased baseline+steady release schedule+sizeable price cut in time for holidays could give Wii U a solid year.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
