Forums - Sony - The Order 1886 is the most linear game ever

The guy is hyperbolic or never played games before nes era, 2d platformers, or even ffxiii?

Most games are linear in disguise, to meet the goals and advance in the game you usually follow a direct path and have some diversion or side mission to hide the fact.

And the best part is that he decided that in a 3 min gameplay 7min cg.

I'll take that as a victory for FFXIII

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Playing a game for 3 minutes => "This game is the most linear ever."

Well, except if you finish the game in 3 minutes, nope. Or at least we don't know yet. Wait and see.

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

Did this guy use his crystal ball or something ? If it is the case, where can I find one ? I really want to see gameplay of Uncharted 4. Or better: gameplay of The Last Guardian.

It sure looks like a QTE onrails experience to me too, wonder what happens if u dont press QTEs, nothing or gameover. And does that wolfman toss u through the wall every game.

Will see once the final product comes out

For me it's a good thing i'm getting boring when i play open world games

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Linear is bad?? Do not understand what people have against linear games.
