Sony wants the 6º gen model with PS4/Xone/WiiU that's why they are so agressive with their message and with third party deals. They really need PS4 to dominate this gen.It will be their money maker.

It doesn't matter now about Assasins creed partnership which is already made stronger with PS, so it will still be game to be played on Playstaion for many gamers and MS marketing wont change much about this if we look at the current trend of PS4 because its not a cross gen game.
So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.
PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.
Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.
Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.
A multiple will beat out other multiplats (and a port)? I am shocked.
Good on Sony for being happy with Destiny, but I greatly dislike the idea of a multiplat being a console's best selling game. It is like saying a butcher's best selling product is KFC.

Sony has always wanted a "Halo Killer" and now they are finally getting it sorta. Personally, I think it's a good plan for them. Destiny is going to be the next big franchise and be a system seller if they can overshadow the xbox versions. Honestly, the recipe for this game is somewhat generic, with stylistic queues and gameplay elemetns that will appeal to COD, Halo, WOW, and maybe even Star Wars fans. But all those franchises are huge and so it almost gurantees success. It's crazy, but some of the biggest community fans of the game, like Datto, have never even played a Halo game. This game is almost sure to create a huge fan base and will be community driven. If more players start on the ps4, that will only attract more.I'm a big Halo fan, but I am going to get Destiny for the PS4 because I feel the community there will be larger. I'm sure here are many others will follow suit.
Sony, you were visionnary !
They have the next biggest multiplayer game associated to playstation name, so damn clever.
Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:
PS4: 17m XB1: 10m WiiU: 10m Vita: 10m

im sorry, but what did you think was the best system sellers for PS1, PS2, PS3, 360? to refresh your memory, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Need for speed, GTA, Assassinc Creed and CoD.

I honestly would have doubted them before seeing the Watchdogs figures. Now I think it's a great strategy.
Sure Destiny will be a massive success on PS4. It will do better than Watch Dogs !

True story. 3rd party games push software and consoles, which improves the said consoles install base which in turn makes other 3rd parties and 1st party studios more likely to find sucess. Its a simple strategy with great results. Too bad some are too stubborn to see it.
