PS4 is actually the longshot. Chances are they will do the 3DS, but short of that, the Wii U is doing better in Japan than the PS4 is.

The West is irrelevant for DQ  and the PS4 isn´t the most popular platform in Japan by any stretch of the imagination.

Gotta be on 3DS you'd think.

If not, then Wii U. Only reason DQVIII wasn't on GameCube is because of how much of a runaway success the PS2 was. That ain't the case this time, particularly in Japan. So if it's on one system (true to form) it'll be on Wii U.

Regardless I care little if it's another damn MMO.

3DS, DQ is always on the leading platform in Japan, if they do go for a console it'll Wii U.

Ha in Japan neither platform has an install base worth talking about, DQ in the west will be much bigger business this time. 

If this is no online game, the system that gets it will win the Japanese market anyway. But from a financial standpoint, both Wii-U and PS4 should get it.

As long as it's not mobile or an MMO. I'm fine and would buy it on any platform.
