OT: I personally believe Sega buying Atlus delayed the project by a lot (which is understandable), but is good to see that the game might see the light of day in the end, if not then just make a normal Fire Emblem game.

Fire Emblem Awakening was my GOTY 2013. I own Shin Megami Tensei IV, and though the story was interesting, I got much more enjoyment out FEA. You might not have liked it, but your opinion certainly isn't shared by the majority. Especially when you take critical acclaim into account.

OT: I'm pretty glad to hear this, one of main reasons I got SMT IV last year. I'm still curious how this game is gonna work though. Is the setting going to be contemporary or medieval? Gah....I wish we had an actual trailer.
