So we've all heard about the Halo Master Chief Collection by now and I think we can all agree that it is one heck of a deal. Even people who dislike Halo or First Person Shooters in general have been praising Microsoft for this fan service. The collection has risen to number one on Amazon's best selling Video Game list in just a matter of hours. People are already expecting to see this give the Xbox One the sales boost it needed.

This got me thinking, with Nintendo also struggling with their Wii U sales, maybe they could do something similar for their Wii U with the 3D Mario games. This would include Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 all remastered. I realize that this list might not be as impressive as the Halo one due to the fact that Halo features multiplayer but for those of us that prefer story and gameplayer over competitive multiplayer, this could be the thing that sells us on the Wii U! So my question for you guys is this, would this possibly convince you to get a Wii U? And if you already have one like myself, would this be something you'd look forward to?

I would rather have Zelda/Ethernal Darkness or Metroid Prime tbh... we had enough plat formers on the wiiu for a while

That'd be extremely awesome! But not even close to a system seller for me... because I already have a Wii U!

Sure why not. Super Mario 64 + Sunshine on one disc for $49.99 remastered w/Mario 64 using a new engine. Then Galaxy 1 + 2 for $49.99 running in 1080p. I don't think Nintendo would give all four games away for $59.99 though. 

Though I think they should totally do Sunshine themed DLC or amiibo add-on for Splatoon that brings Mario + FLUDD into the game.

The only thing like that I'd be interested in, would be Mario 64 remade in HD. I was never a big fan of Sunshine, and I own both Galaxy games, so I don't need them again.

Mehh lolll. Yea we had Prime Trilogy on the wii but that wasn't much of a remake... Just imagine Metroid Prime HD Remake, That would be EPIC!!!!

And I mean. Mario 64 was awesome, Sunshine was Meh at best and Galaxies were excellent but I don't think they really need to be remade that badly. There is not enough Metroid love damn it!!! Samus in HD! Now thats what I want to see!!!!

I would rank Zelda > Metroid Prime > Galaxy > Mario 64 >>>>>> Sunshine in terms of what I want to see remade for the wiiU lolll

Edit: Oh and, I think we have a much higher chance of getting a New Mario Galaxy on the wiiU than a new Metroid so there is that too
