 You could be right it did seem a little bit more like his main outfit compared to the previous links starting outfits.

If it his new tunic I wouldn’t mind the green tunic obtainable via a side quest/post game dungeon/ boss or something. I also would like the blue scarf from Hyrule Warriors as an unlock if you have Hyrule Warriors save data.

That blue scarf is awesome. I hope here in my country there's a limited edition with it.

I'll wait until they polish the characters before I leave my final impressions. I can tell they spent most of their time on the environments.

Aonuma said it in response to someone asking why Link isn't in his usual green tunic.  I think if you like watching chaos ensue, that would be a great thing to say, even if the original assumption everyone had was correct.
