I too wanted them to do a new franchise, like you mentioned, they have always shown off a new IP with each generation (at the start of a generation, when the console needs new things the most).

At least it looks we get a proper goodbye to Nate and I'm happy with that too.

not disappointed at all.

A) i love uncharted
B) last gen naughty dog did 2 new IPs
C) i'm confident that before the end of this gen we'll see a new naughty dog IP anyways.

I don't think that was disappointed, it was expected to happen. I think the announcement didn't be have a great receivement because everyone were so tired after that long (and boring) conference, that people just said "Ok, fine, can i go home now?" Sony needs to learn that these very long conferences with some stuff that nobody cares (You Tube, Ps TV, series, movies, whatever) doesn't means a good conference.

I didn't expect them to show anything related to Uncharted 4 until next year, so I was very pleased.
